Prince George’s father shared, “I think days like today, where we have got upstairs, all these brilliant athletes and charities who have been working tirelessly in a sort of mental health and suicide space.
“I see the power of everyone together. Being able to support one another, show kindness. Show the fact that we have got time for each other. We can listen. I think life’s so busy now we forget to listen. We all want to talk about ourselves; we all get in our own little worlds too much, and sometimes lifting your eyes up to the horizon is really important because you see what’s around you. So that gives you hope.
“There are a lot of good people out there. The positivity of helping others. I think sometimes people forget about how hopeful that can be. So I think those give you hope on a slightly rainy, dreary day.”
Prince William’s encouraging words became part of World Suicide Prevention Day amid the ongoing feud between royal brothers.
Since Prince Harry’s return to the UK, reports indicate that the Prince of Wales is not in favour of reconciliation with Harry.
