Prince William made his feelings clear over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s encounter after King Charles’ fresh olive branch.
It was claimed that the monarch offered his youngest son a room at Buckingham Palace if he returns to the UK in September for the WellChild Awards.
The King’s heart has finally melted, but the future monarch William is not yet ready to forgive the Sussexes.
Royal expert Emily Andrews revealed that the Prince of Wales will do anything in his power to avoid facing his brother.
She said, “I’m told [Prince William] made it clear that Harry and Meghan were not to be offered Windsor Castle, or indeed any royal accommodation in Windsor.
“He did not want to run the risk of seeing his younger brother – or Meghan – on his home turf.”
The Waleses live at Frogmore Cottage, located on the Windsor estate. Their new forever home is a 10 to 15 minute drive from Windsor Castle.
William is taking precautions beforehand.
“A brutal showdown (which is what it would surely be) between the warring brothers is something that William would want to avoid at all costs.
“I’d go as far as to say that he’d snub Harry if he came anywhere near,” Emily said.
