Princess Anne was captured during a memorable visit to an English brewery.
The images were posted on Instagram by the photographer, who recalled having the “privilege” of photographing Anne last month when she visited Hook Norton Brewery in Oxfordshire.
The Princess Royal was there to mark the brewery’s 175th anniversary and officially reopen its restored stables, which had been badly damaged by a devastating fire in May 2024.
Her visit took her behind the scenes of the historic brewery, where she met local schoolchildren, dignitaries and members of the Hook Norton Brass Band before being shown how its traditional brewing process works.
Anne also toured the Malthouse Kitchen, shop and museum, taking time to meet staff and volunteers and view a collection of artefacts connected to the local area.
One of the most poignant moments came when the Princess Royal visited the newly restored Stable Courtyard and met firefighters who had battled the 2024 blaze.
She also came face-to-face with some of the brewery’s most distinctive residents – its Shire horses Balmoral, Brigadier and Cromwell.
The visit was marked with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque in the stable courtyard, adding another chapter to Anne’s long association with the brewery.
It was 27 years after the Princess Royal first visited Hook Norton Brewery to open its visitor centre in 1999.
