Rebel Wilson is facing fresh questions in her legal battle with film producer Amanda Ghost after newly filed court documents revealed an alleged $110,000 quote for an “untraceable site.”
The messages, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 25, reportedly came from crisis publicist Melissa Nathan during a text exchange with Wilson in August 2024.
Nathan allegedly offered a package involving a “satellite, ghost server, ghost hosting, full build” and an “algorithmic push” across social media platforms for three months.
Wilson appeared to question the price, allegedly replying, “Wait – do you mean only $110 in total?”
Nathan corrected her: “110,000. Sorry ! huge difference.”
During a recent deposition, Wilson said she was unsure what the proposed “untraceable site” referred to.
“I’m not sure of what an untraceable site means,” she testified.
Asked whether she remembered the exchange, Wilson said, “I don’t recall sending or receiving these texts. I may have.”
She later acknowledged that it was “possible” she had received or sent them.
The documents do not establish that Wilson actually paid the $110,000. Ghost is seeking invoices and payment records to determine whether the money changed hands.
Wilson’s attorney Allyson Thompson called the latest filing “one-sided and thus incomplete,” noting that the case remains active.
Meanwhile, Ghost has alleged that Wilson’s crisis PR team was involved in efforts to create websites targeting her reputation. Her attorney Camille Vasquez has argued that the evidence contradicts Wilson’s previous denials.
Wilson’s lawyer maintains that the actress has already prevailed in one related lawsuit and expects to defend herself successfully in the remaining cases.
For now, the $110,000 mystery is adding another dramatic twist to an already messy Hollywood legal showdown.
