Sandra Bullock is giving fans a tiny window into her summer — and it’s basically family, fresh air and a whole lot of Wyoming.
The Practical Magicstar, 62, shared a rare collection of photos from her family’s outdoor adventures at her Wyoming ranch, offering glimpses of life with her children, Louis, 16, and Laila, 12.
The snapshots included the kids enjoying a sunset walk with their aunt Gesine Bullock-Prado and rafting on a scenic river.
Bullock kept their faces hidden behind fish emojis, staying true to her long-standing effort to protect their privacy.
She also shared a touching photo from a visit to her late parents’ graves and a picture with longtime friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka.
“Friends, family, fun, fishies, furries, aaaand work,” Bullock captioned the carousel.
That final word is important. Bullock is preparing for the release of Practical Magic 2in September, marking her first movie in more than four years.
The actress has been intentional about balancing Hollywood with motherhood, even scheduling the sequel around her children’s school calendar.
“I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school,” Bullock said at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in April. “I’m not going to sacrifice my children’s—my time—with my kids.”
She added, “I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can’t facilitate it.”
Bullock has also explained why she keeps her children away from the spotlight.
“I have hidden their faces for so long,” she said.
And judging by her latest summer photo dump, that boundary isn’t changing anytime soon.
