Take-Two boss has once again doubled down against the delay rumors surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6, a.k.a. GTA6, ahead of the earnings call next Friday, August 7, 2026.
Take-Two, the parent company behind Rockstar Games, has been making waves with the much-anticipated game of the decade, GTA 6.
With 13 years and 2 delays, it’s enough to leave GTA 6 fans exhausted and overwhelmed, yet the release on November 19 is finally humming into view.
The fact is, fans are demanding trailer 3 drop from Take-Two as we’re inching closer to the launch.
Sam Houser, Rockstar president echoing with fans’ trailer buzz, made a headline statement in a latest interview with Strauss Zelnick, saying, “I wanna wake them up with the Trailer.”
Strauss Zelnick has always been open to discussing the release date of GTA 6.
Strauss has once again doubled down on his promise.
In a recent letter sent over to shareholders, the Take-Two CEO highlights the company’s recent profits and says GTA 6 is still on track for November 19 launch.
The letter cited the company’s net bookings for 2026 valued at $6.72 billion, which is $750 million earlier than anticipated, per ScreenRant.
The outlet also reported that over $1 billion in cash flow would help fuel a full-throttle marketing push ahead of the November 19 release.
The letter in question also set the next annual meeting for Take-Two for November 17, just two days before the GTA 6 rollout.
