Taylor Swift has taken firm action against the Trump administration after they used her songs for their social media promo without the singer’s consent.
After choosing not to respond to the government for a while, the pop superstar, 36, got her songs removed from the social media pages – including TikTok and Instagram.
In addition to the songs she initially removed including August, Father Figureand more, Swift has now removed the sound of her song I Bet You Think About Me from a TikTok video posted by White House.
In total, the Grammy winner has now removed 11 songs from their videos on social media.
Following the update, Swifties flocked to the comments and applauded Swift, writing, “why can’t this man just leave her alone.. it’s VERY public knowledge that she does not support him so using her name/songs/references for promotion of any kind on any of their social medias or ads or whatever else is just odd behaviour.”
Another added, “they be really trying to get under her skin but my girl is staying tough- STAY STRONG TAYLOR WE LOVE YOU,” and “Oh wokelor.”
More chimed in, “It’s so disappointing and annoying that people will still have the nerve to say she’s MAGA even after this and everything else she’s done to prove she isn’t,” and “the white house really thought they were so cute and she said absolutely not lmaooo,” joked another.
