Taylor Swift and the Swifties have a lot to celebrate this week as her The Life of a Showgirl: Encoreand Patient Zero single comes out on Friday, and the pop icon is expected to attend the VMAs on Sunday.
In addition to the exciting announcements, the Eras Tour performer earned the number one position on the charts with The Fate of Ophelia after she announced the Encore.
The leading Showgirl single reclaimed the number one position, dethroning Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas.
Swifties flocked to social media to celebrate, writing, “the encore announcement already sent ophelia back to #1. swifties move fast.”
Another added, “Queeeen!!!” and “Mother, the world never stops being hungry for your music,” penned another.
While one chimed in, “HER POWER IS UNMATCHED!” and someone exclaimed, “OPHELIAAAAAAAAA.”
