Taylor Swift took the internet by the storm with her Law & Order: SVU sketch at the Emmy Awards with an endless web of Easter Eggs, and now the producers have revealed an even more striking detail behind the skit.
The producers confirmed that Swifties are in fact looking in the right direction as all the clues planted in the skit were products of the pop superstar’s own mind and were associated with real news about her music.
“She had some thoughts, and we worked that in. The Easter Eggs, she wanted them to be really official,” stated the producers.
During the sketch, Swift herself spoke a few words into the camera, “Saccharide, Aries (or Ares), From the Vineyard, North or South,” but there was also a board full of clues behind her.
Overwhelmed Swifties took to social media as their minds began turning, and wrote, “the fact that people are still debating if the eggs were real when she literally wrote them into the script herself is so on brand. like she doesnt do anything halfway and yall know it.”
Another added, “SHE’S THE ZODIAC KILLER,” and “OH SHES COMING,” wrote one.
Someone chimed in, “so she was the one who put the clear debut tv easter eggs in there which means SHES COMING,” while one exclaimed, “MOTHER IS BACK.”
One Swiftie guessed, “13 being there might mean she works ahead for TS13. Small easter eggs now, more later.”
