Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have stayed tight-lipped about their July wedding, but guests are continuing to reveal the unforgettable moments that unfolded behind closed doors.
Sports broadcaster Joe Buck offered one of the sweetest details yet, recalling the Kansas City Chiefs star’s emotional reaction as the ceremony began.
“Travis was a puddle watching his nieces come down the little ramp that they built,” Buck shared on the Starkville podcast. “And then, you know, when [Swift] walked out, he was a puddle.”
Buck also confirmed that the couple’s vows left hardly a dry eye in the room.
“Their vows were long,” he said. “They were really well written. They were funny. They were sweet. They were emotional.”
Once guests surrendered their phones, the celebration turned into a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of music, film and sports royalty.
“When they took everybody’s phone and everybody could relax and I’m standing next to Beck, who’s an artist I love,” Buck recalled, “and it’s Michelle, me, Beck, whoever he was with, watching Paul McCartney singing ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’ for the first time publicly since 1964. It was a pinch yourself kind of night.”
Even Buck admitted he could not believe his tablemates.
“I’m like what in the hell am I doing here?” he joked. “And they have got to be looking at me like, ‘Who is that?’”
With emotional vows, tears at the altar and an A-list guest list, the newlyweds’ big day is quickly becoming the wedding fans can’t stop talking about.
