Emma Watson found herself at the centre of online rumour after photos from Lake Como started spreading on social media.
Pictures which shared online appeared to show Watson with George Clooney outside his home in Italy.
Soon, people started asking if something was going on between the two stars as some of them even claimed Clooney could be leaving his wife, Amal Clooney, for Watson.
But the photos do not actually show that.
The original pictures, however, showed that Watson leaving Clooney’s home alone. There is no clear picture of Watson and Clooney walking out together, despite what some posts online shared.
The rumours quickly gained attention but there is no evidence that the actress and the actor and filmmaker are romantically involved.
Neither of them didn’t talk about the claims yet.
The Beauty and the Beast actress may simply have been visiting for personal or work reasons. Some people have even wondered if the visit could be about to future acting project or work with Amal.
The Harry Potter star has stayed mostly away from acting in recent years as her last major film was Little Women in 2019.
Speaking about acting last year, Watson said, “I do very much miss using my skill set, and I very much miss the art.”
For now, the Lake Como photos have sparked massive buzz on the internet but the bigger claims are still unproven.
