King Charles is beaming with joy and radiates positive energy in new photos released by his team during cancer treatment.
On August 5, the official Instagram page of the royal family issued an update on the monarch’s weekend engagement in Scotland.
The statement reads, “Over the weekend, The King attended the Mey Highland Games in Caithness, Scotland.
“The programme celebrates the best of traditional Scottish sports including heavy weight competitions, Highland dancing, track events, tug-of-war and junior athletics.”
Charles has held the title of Chieftain at the Mey Highland Games since 2002, which he took over from his grandmother Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
In the shared pictures, William and Harry’s father appeared healthy and mentally stable despite requiring ongoing medical assistance.
In December 2025, the monarch shared good news with his well-wishers that early diagnosis and “effective intervention” appeared to be helpful, and his treatment would be reduced in 2026.
Since then, no other update about the current state of his cancer has been provided by the Palace.
It is also important to note that the royal family is celebrating the birth of Princess Eugenie’s baby girl, which was announced on August 4.
