Jared Leto reportedly missed out on a major movie role as new sexual misconduct allegations continue to get massive around the Oscar winning actor.
Reports claim that the 54-year-old star was in talks to join the political thriller Assassination, but the plans are no longer moving forward now.
According to unnamed industry sources, Leto was discussing the project for months and was believed to be very close to joining the cast.
Reports, however, say that the decision changed after more women came forward with allegations against him.
Sources also claimed the people behind the film already knew about earlier claims but new allegations reportedly made them take another look at the casting.
One of the women, Allie Teliz, claimed that she was 17 when Leto assaulted and traumatised her.
She also said that she told him she was underage as an old Facebook post about her also got some new attention.
Another woman, who was also faced this, shared that she was just 16 when she first met Leto, claiming he later asked her some sexual questions.
The BBC documentary Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret also included claims from another woman who said that she was 17 during an intimate relationship with the actor.
Leto, moreover, has denied all those allegations, “absolutely and categorically false.”
