Hayden Panettiere’s on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson has reportedly been in talks with federal law enforcement following the actress’ suspected overdose death.
Panettiere, best known for playing role on the hit NBC series, Heroes, passed away at the young age of 36, with police reportedly saying there were ‘no signs of foul play.’
It was later reported that Hickerson was at the Greenville, South Carolina, condo when Panettiere was pronounced dead, has met with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), a source claimed to TMZ.
According to the suspected dealer, the authorities are fully engrossed in identifying the suspected dealer who believed to sold the actress drugs that may have caused her death.
One source told TMZ that authorities are ‘zeroing in’ on a potential drug dealer.
At the moment investigators are still waiting on toxicology results to come back, to determine Panettiere’s cause of death. Her autopsy found ‘no signs of trauma’ that ‘would have contributed to the death.’
The Heroes actress was found dead at 36 at a residence in Greenville on August 16 in what is being investigated as a suspected overdose.
