New court documents have shared some more details about Liam Payne’s final hours before his painful death in Argentina last year.
The information came from statements two women gave to police after they spent time with the former One Direction singer on the day he died.
According to their statements, Liam invited them to his hotel room at CasaSur Palermo on the morning of October 16, 2024.
The women claimed that the late singer later became upset because he did not have enough cash to pay them.
They, however, claimed that he offered them his Rolex watch instead, then smashed it himself before damaging the television in the room.
The women also added that Liam appeared drunk, sang some of his own songs and asked for cocaine.
The witnesses went on to add that they decided to leave and informed hotel staff about his weird behaviour so later that afternoon, they returned to collect some stuff and claimed Liam apologised to them.
Just over an hour later, Liam died after falling from the balcony of his third floor hotel room at the age of 31.
Toxicology tests later found alcohol, cocaine and some heavy medication in his system. Two men, who are accused of supplying drugs, have denied the charges and are waiting for trial.
