It has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been planning to do another sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, but the renowned host stepped back from further drama, a delightful update for the royal family.
An insider told Rob Shutter, “Harry and Meghan would love a Part Two. They’re talking again because they both have projects to promote, and they know interviews generate headlines.
“They hoped Oprah might be interested in a fresh chapter about healing. She isn’t.”
As the Sussexes are quite active in promoting their projects, they need a reliable platform. From Harry’s Invictus Games to Meghan’s business venture, the couple has seemingly been eager to share their stories.
However, the controversies created with their first bombshell interview with Oprah are still haunting the royals and, to date, put Oprah in a negative light.
“She has absolutely nothing to gain by stepping back into the royal drama. As far as she’s concerned, that story has been told,” the source shared.
It is a ‘no’ from her side. If the Duke and Duchess are on their own, as the known television personality has no desire to be part of their “publicity strategy.”
