
Wedding bells are ringing for Monaco’s Princess Alexandra, who has announced her engagement to her longtime love, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, after a decade together.
The 27-year-old daughter of Princess Caroline shared the happy news on Friday, giving her followers a first look at the dazzling yellow diamond ring chosen for the next chapter of their relationship.
Alexandra posted a series of photographs from the romantic moment on Instagram, captioning them: “The marriage plot,” accompanied by yellow heart emojis.
Further photographs showed resting her newly ringed hand beside an indulgent breakfast spread.
Her beloved dachshund, Elouise, also made an appearance in the sweet collection of snaps.
Alexandra and Ben-Sylvester have been together for around ten years, having first been linked as teenagers.
Princess Diana’s niece Kitty Spencer was among those to send her congratulations, writing: “Aah congratulations,” alongside red heart emojis.
Alexandra Leclerc, wife of Formula One star Charles Leclerc, also joined the messages, writing: “Congratulations!!!!” with a row of red hearts.
