Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pulling back the curtain on one of the hardest moments of her life—and hoping other women won’t ignore the warning signs.
Three months after revealing she would undergo a hysterectomy following her stage one cervical cancer diagnosis, the Jersey Shorestar shared an emotional video documenting her surgery and recovery, admitting fear overwhelmed her just before entering the operating room.
“Right when I go in, it’s just like, ‘Oh my god, it hit me, like holy s–t. I’m going under surgery,’” Snooki recalled.
“I’m losing my uterus and my cervix, fallopian tubes, half my v***na, like holy s–t.”
“I just start hysterically bawling, I’m so scared,” she continued. “I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I don’t wanna feel pain. It’s very scary.”
The 38-year-old said doctors removed her uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and part of her v***na to ensure the cancer was fully treated, while preserving her ovaries to avoid early menopause.
During the same procedure, surgeons also repaired separated abdominal muscles following her three pregnancies.
Recovery hasn’t been easy.
“I’m trying to stay optimistic,” Snooki shared, revealing that even walking short distances was painful.
Despite the difficult journey, the reality star said opening up was important because countless women face similar health battles.
“I don’t have to take birth control anymore. Hopefully, I’ll be cancer free,” she said before ending with a heartfelt reminder: “I love you. Thanks for being here. And get your Pap smears, OK?”
Her message wasn’t just about survival—it was a powerful reminder that early screenings can save lives.
