After Tom Holland and Zendaya, another Spider-Man star secretly got hitched.
Jacob Batalon, who portrays Peter Parker’s best friend Ned Leeds, has tied the knot with his partner, Veronica Leahov. Though the newlyweds have not officially announced it, Peoplemagazine confirmed the news after catching Batalon referring to Leahov as his “wife” in a recent interview with Holland and Zendaya.
Appearing on Heart’s Showbiz Kids segment on July 28, the trio were discussing their real-life nicknames, when Batalon revealed, “My wife calls me ‘Big Dog.’”
He then admitted he was joking, saying, “She doesn’t. I wish she did.”
Batalon was also seen wearing a wedding ring throughout the interview, as well as on the red carpet for the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Holland and Zendaya — who revealed their nicknames to be “T” and “Marie” respectively — burst out laughing but did not react to Batalon calling Leahov his “wife,” indicating they already knew.
Meanwhile, Leahov — an interior designer — updated her surname on her website to “Veronica Leahov Batalon.”
Batalon and Leahov announced their engagement on March 5, 2025. Beahov got down on one knee in front of the Brooklyn bridge with a flower heart backdrop. “The beginning of the rest of our lives together,” he wrote on Instagram.
Though the time or location of their wedding is unknown, Batalon previously told Entertainment Tonightthat his dream wedding would be in Italy’s Lake Como.
