Despite building a successful career and making a name across the globe, the Mission: Impossible star has seemingly failed to maintain a healthy bond with his daughter Suri, whom he shares with Katie Nicole.
For the unversed, the 20-year-old has legally changed her last name from Cruise to Noelle, which is her mother’s middle name.
An insider unveiled Tom’s reaction to the bold step taken by Suri, and it is quite surprising.
Gossip columnist Rob Shutter claimed that he does not have any kind of remorse about losing the last possible connection he has with his daughter.
“Tom’s reaction has been almost nonexistent. He’s not angry, he’s not making phone calls, and he’s certainly not trying to change her mind. As far as Tom is concerned, this chapter of his life ended years ago,” the source said.
It has been said that the father and daughter have been estranged since Suri was seven.
Many have thought that Tom may struggle with this heartbreak, but with no official statement over the matter, he made his priority clear that his career comes first, raising eyebrows of many.
“Tom compartmentalises better than almost anyone. His career has always been his priority. Once he believes something is beyond his control, he simply moves forward,” an insider shared with Rob.
