Zayn Malik and Ayra Starr dropped a brand-new collaborations song, titled Heaven Baby.
In a joint Instagram post on Friday, August 14, the two singers announced that their fresh pop ballad is out now.
The snippet shows the Nigerian singer with long, dark hair sitting on the floor in a dimly lit, blue-toned room.
She is wearing a shimmering silver outfit with a matching choker while a small vintage CRT television displayed the former One Direction star performing into a microphone.
Released on August 14, Heaven Babyserves as the 14th song on Starr’s, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, third studio album, Starrgirl.
Moreover during her appearance for a TODAY Show Citi Concert performance in New York City, the 24-year-old can’t stop raving over the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker.
“I have a song with Zayn Malik, THE.. Zayn Malik, and it’s called Heaven Baby. It’s one of the best songs I’ve ever got to sing” she said in an interview with the NBC’s morning program during their “On in Ten” segment.
“Zayn just brought the best vibes. He has a very strong yet very vulnerable voice,” she continued gushing over the 33-year-old singer. “And his texture just sounds so vulnerable, and I feel like that’s the same thing I carry with my voice.”
“And I just thought it would be amazing for us to have a song together. So Heaven Babywas a song, and he killed it,” Ayra went on to praise Zayn while walking and talking with a host from Studio 1A to the Plaza at Rockefeller Center. “He was just.. He’s just the sweetest person ever. I’m so grateful for him.”
