Pregnant Holly Ramsay looked downcast as her husband, Adam Ramsay- Peaty, missed out on a medal in the 4x100m medley at the Commonwealth Games on Tuesday night.
The three-time Olympic swimming champion, used his full name, Adam Ramsay-Peaty, for the first time at a major championship.
Showing her support, his pregnant wife Holly, 26, watched from the strands.
At one point, the daughter of TV chef, Gordon Ramsay appeared sad as Adam and his teammates Lauren Cox, Edward Mildred and Freya Colbert, finished in fifth place.
Adam was left disappointed after failing to win gold in both the 100m and 50m breaststroke finals, instead taking home bronze medals.
Furthermore, Adam hinted at an ongoing family rift, admitting he ‘does not know’ why he was unable to reclaim gold.
He also paid his tribute to his pregnant wife, Holly Ramsay, acknowledging unwavering support throughout this difficult period.
Meanwhile, Adam’s estranged mother, Caroline Peaty, declared that she would always support him from afar.
