Hayden Panettiere was planning to visit her daughter Kaya in Ukraine before her sudden death at the age of 36.
The actress was very close to her 11-year-old even though they lived in different countries.
Hayden’s friend and hairstylist Erick Orellana said she had recently talked about taking a trip to see Kaya.
According to Orellana, the late star, however, loved talking about her daughter and often showed him pictures of her. He said that Kaya was the most important person in her life and that Hayden would become especially happy whenever she talked about her.
The Nashville star also opened up about how much she missed spending everyday life with her daughter. She travelled to see her whenever she could and stayed in touch with her through FaceTime.
Kaya has lived with her father, Wladimir Klitschko, since 2018. Hayden, moreover, agreed to let him have custody while she was dealing with serious personal struggles.
The decision was extremely painful for the late actress but she said Kaya’s wellbeing was the most important thing.
She also strongly denied all those claims that she just abandoned her daughter.
Hayden died on Sunday after she was found unresponsive at a home in South Carolina.
