Princess Beatrice has been spotted enjoying a low-key shopping trip in central London as she keeps an understated profile ahead of her 38th birthday.
The eldest daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was seen visiting the iconic Fortnum & Mason department store on July 30.
For the outing, Beatrice embraced sustainable fashion by rewearing a navy blue Kitri Studio “Joni” midi dress, a piece she first wore during a London dinner in 2023.
She paired the elegant dress with affordable suede ballet flats from Zara, while wearing her strawberry-blonde hair loose and keeping her makeup fresh and minimal.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie believes this year’s birthday is likely to carry a different mood from previous celebrations.
The Princess has also maintained a noticeably lower public profile throughout the summer.
She was absent from several high-profile social events, including Royal Ascot and a lavish birthday celebration hosted in Tuscany by close friend Alice Naylor-Leyland.
Her most recent major public appearance came in June when she attended the wedding of her cousin Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling.
Beatrice was joined by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and her sister, Princess Eugenie, as the royal family gathered to celebrate the couple’s special day.
