Spanish Olympic Skater Danny Leon pulled an incredible stunt during yesterday’s solar eclipse. The carefully planned jump by the two-time Olympian took place in rural Spain on August 12, 2026, within the path of totality where the moon completely blocked the Sun.
The 31-year-old skateboarder perfectly synchronised his high-flying trick precisely as the Moon moved directly in front of the Sun. The epic movement was captured on camera and later shared by the athlete on social media.
Leon described the jump as “the move of his life.” He wrote, “There is no 2 without 3. First the sun, then the moon and today we make history with this eclipse. THANKS TO THE WHOLE TEAM FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE.”
The Spaniard’s video quickly went viral and has been viewed over 90 million times on Instagram alone.
