Taylor Swift fans are currently experiencing a drought in the fandom, as the pop superstar has stepped away from the spotlight following her wedding, and while reports of TS13, Debut (Taylor’s Version), and a European tour are popping up, there has been no confirmations.
The 36-year-old musician has also left fans devoid of any live performances from her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
While spiraling about the lack of live TLOAS performances however, Swifties on social media realised that there is one clip of her performance.
During her interview with The New York Times, Swift sang a snippet of Elizabeth Taylor, which marked the only live performance from the album to exist.
Swifties flocked to the comments and celebrated, writing, “we love crumbs in this fandom,” and “I really wish we got the Elizabeth Taylor music video because I would of chewed on that for months.”
A third chimed in, “the concept of a 4 second clip of Taylor singing Elizabeth Taylorhas more Taylor Swift screen time than in the Elizabeth Taylormusic video,” referring to the video with the actress’ montage.
More fans wrote, “elizabeth taylor getting more screen time than the fate of ophelia,” and “the heights this era would’ve reached with those live vocals…”
Another joked, “Taylor collect your minions they are going crazy ,” and “Wow we rlly losing it this might be it evb.”
